Friends, Family, and Fellowship

This weekend we celebrated Blaine's 25th Birthday! Several of our family and friends came down for a cookout and campfire. It was nice to be with friends and fellowship. It seems like we've both been so busy lately with work that we never have time anymore to relax together.

Work is consuming Blaine now because it is farming season. I am no stranger to this time of year because I grew up with my Dad doing the same things. I'm thankful that Blaine is the type of person he is. He loves taking care of me and providing for us. He is the best. I couldn't imagine spending my life with a more perfect man. He is always there for me. I can always count on him to cheer me up when I'm down and put a smile on my face.

We've been through a lot together over the past couple of years. People say that raising children is the hardest job their is...right now we believe the most frustrating job is trying to conceive them. :o) We have been trying for nearly two years. It gets frustrating but we know that when the time is right..it will happen. We have decided to not stress about it because it only makes it worse. We are enjoying being together and spending time with one another. We pray about it all the time and we are starting to see some results. We know that it will be a sweet, sweet day when we welcome our first child into this world. Until then...I guess we will just have fun trying! We'll see what happens from here. :o)
