Walking By Faith

This weekend we were blessed to be able to witness our best friends son get baptized by his Dad. As soon as I saw Brandon step down into the water..I lost it. I was bawling like a little baby. He's such a neat kid with such a good heart. He has really good morals and knows that he lives a Christian life. It's so neat to witness such a blessing! He never ceases to amaze me. Some of the things he says and does are just absolutely precious. I can't believe that he is already almost 12 and starting the 6th grade. Brandon has always been special to us. I was his "girlfriend" when I was a senior in high school. Keep in mind I was 17 and he was 4 at the time. He was just so precious. I'm so glad that we get to be a part of his life. Tony, Bev, and Brandon mean so much to Blaine and I. Sometimes I don't know what I would do without them. We've been through A LOT together. Tony and Bev started out as our youth leaders when we were juniors and seniors. After graduation, our bond just kept getting stronger and stronger. I don't really know when it happened..but we became best friends along the way. Tony was the Best Man in our wedding. I just want to take time out to thank them for always being there for us and to let them know that we are really blessed to have such great friends. :o) We love you guys!

School's no longer out for summer! I am blessed to have a job. I really do love what I do. As you know, school just started yesterday. I am met with new challenges with new students. I only have a couple that are returning. It's exciting to get a new set but scary at the same time. I have to learn all the different aspects of these new students where as with my old ones, I already know. But that's part of working in the school systems. You get new students every year. That's just how it is. This year is going to be interesting. We are already starting with three new job coaches and a lot of new people at McCutcheon. It's part of work though. It's always hard when you have new people thrown in. But it always seems to work out and we all get our work done. :o) I'm really blessed to be able to help students better their lives. They can accomplish so much more than what they think. It's so awesome to witness them succeed!
