Friendship

I was getting ready to go to bed so I came to check my email/facebook/myspace/aim. I walked into the computer room and saw a few messages from my best friend.

She has recently decided to accept a new job at the school that she did her student teaching. I'm so happy for her. She is an amazing teacher and I know she will do great things for any student that is in her classroom.

She is the best friend that I could ask for. Without her, I don't know what I would do. We have been through so much together and nothing will ever come between us.

I have been thinking a lot lately about EVERYTHING... Last night I couldn't sleep because I had so much on my mind.

I've been thinking so much about life, family, friends, work...just everything.

It's so amazing to say that I have such a solid foundation made up of family, friends and faith...that I feel like I can conquer anything.

Thank you for always being there for me Court. You are an amazing person and friend.

~My Definition of a Good Friend Is You~

Good friends aren't picky and delicate, and their friendship is not easily broken. They don't have to be handled with kid gloves or tiptoed around. They are tough and trusting and loyal to each other. They want the best for each other. They are easy and comfortable to be with. When they're not around, we miss them and our world seems out of balance. They are the kind of friends who stand by each other no matter what. When they say they mean forever, they really do.

Good friends have no need to question each other's motives. They know that they're on each other's side, not in competition with each other, and they would never do the other any harm. They wouldn't hurt each other's feelings for anything and they would go to great lengths to protect their friendship because they know it's so special.

There are many ways to define a good friend, but I will cut it short by just saying that...my definition of a good friend is you.
